Date: August 2-3, 2010

Location: Hot Springs (First Baptist Church)

For: Unchanged voices for students entering grades 6-9 in fall of 2010
Rehearsals: August 2 --- Rehearse from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. On August 3 --- Rehearse from 9:00 a.m. to noon and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Concert: 7:00 p.m., August 3rd
Repertoire: Five pieces of two-part and easy SSA literature to be chosen by the conductor, Ms. Ramsey.
Audition material due date: Postmarked by April 12, 2010.

Notification of acceptance: By May 20
Expectations and requirements: Students will receive a packet of music and a rehearsal CD. They are responsible for knowing all music upon arrival in Hot Springs. Directors will commit be making sure students know their music. Parents will serve as chaperones and will provide for hotel, meals, and travel arrangements.
Cost: The cost is $35. That fee includes Tee-shirt, pizza party, and Mid-America Museum trip.

A huge "Thank You" is extended to all of our members who are supporting our first AR-ACDA Honor Choir by having your students audition. You should be receiving notification letters by the first of next week (week of May 24.) If you have students who have been accepted and your ACDA membership is not current, please make sure that you send in your dues to national as soon as possible. Again, thanks to all our directors for your time and effort and to Angela Weaver and Jeremy Hall for volunteering their time to make the honor choir a reality.
Please note: Directors' ACDA memberships must be current in order to for their students to receive their music packet.
