The AR-ACDA Board is proud to announce the establishment of a scholarship designed to benefit Arkansas choral directors who are pursuing a graduate degree in music.  Once our fund is established, a $500 scholarship will be awarded each year to a choral director who best meets the criteria for the award.  Our goal is to make the first presentation in August 2010.   J & B Music, Inc. has graciously agreed to match the first $300 contributed by our members.  Here is how you can help.  Simply make a donation to the AR-ACDA Professional Scholarship Fund when you register for our Summer Convention.  Any amount, however large or small, is appreciated.   Donations are tax deductable and your name will be listed in our ACCENT publication as a contributor.   It is our goal to support the professional growth of our members in everyway possible.  Helping our directors continue their education is a great way that AR-ACDA can serve.   Please consider making a financial contribution to this worthwhile fund.
